  Dinner last night at La Dolce Vita in Corolla. If you've not been here because you think "Why eat Italian when there's all this fresh seafood to choose from", you are missing out. It is consistently one of the best restaurants in the OBX. Started off with an Italian Cheese Charcuterie board, then the Crab and Shrimp Penne alla Vodka Sauce, and homemade Carrot Cake for dessert. I've had the Canoli before but she only makes the Carrot Cake 2 times a year! Plus they had the Martinelli Giuseppe and Louisa Zinfandel! 😊

  From the first moment entering the hostess was very pleasant and accommodating. From that point on we were greeted and seated promptly and our waitress Anna was very delightful and professional... the food was prepared well and with Care. Portions were generous and quality was superb. I am not sure which position the young man named Tommy held, but he was very engaging and accommodating, and cannot express how lucky the business is to have someone like him. If the menu suits you an Italian is what you’re looking for. You will be well taken care of!

  We ordered the rosemary bread with pesto, seafood Diablo, and chicken parm and all were phenomenal. The seafood Diablo was the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. Hands down.

  Dining here was a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff were all so nice and the food was so delicious! From the wonderful food to the details in the decor — someone put their whole head and soul into this place and it really shows. Shout out to our server, Davy. He was super nice and helpful!

  Bar service was amazing! You must try the Rose Sangria. Ask for Tom!!
